for young people that promotes good health practices. "

Aidan McCarthy, Education Technology Manager of John Paul College,
Queensland Australia: |
"... We are already seeing our students learn
more about their bodies, how they work, and how they can have a healthier,
happier lifestyle. The package, which is a lot of fun, also includes
very important issues that has seen both teachers and students learn.
It not only provides the right triggers for discussion but also those
issues such as sexuality that are sometimes quickly glossed over..."
|
Body Parts also received the following review from Children's Software
Revue in the U.S.: |
"A very nice supplement for health classes, this
CDROM lets children explore 15 body parts and systems. Entertaining,
cartoon-style animations and non-narrated text present info about
the heart, brain, respiratory system, digestive system and many other
systems and organs. Each body part has a corresponding activity. Kids
might have to label organ parts or reassemble a digestive system,
for instance. There are also several games dealing with health and
nutrition issues. There's lots of content and the price is right."
